You can put this solution on YOUR website! If Carl gets x dollars then Amy will receive 3/4 x and Stan will receive 1/2 x
The total of (x + 1/2 x + 3/4 x) is (2 and 1/4 x) (= 2.25x)
900 000 = 2.25 x
x = 900 000/2.25
x = 400 000
So Carl gets $400 000, Amy gets $300 000 and Stan gets $200 000
