----
Multiply both sides by 6 to get:
4+x = 36
Sutract 4 from both sides to get:
x = 32

If yo have 4+%2B+x%2F6+=+6 then
x%2F6=6-4
x%2F6=2
x=2%2A6
x=12
but, in case you have %284+%2B+x%29%2F6+=+6 then
4+%2B+x+=+6%2A6
4+%2B+x+=+36
x+=+36-4
x+=+32
