You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solved by pluggable solver: PLOT any graph
Graphing function %28x-2%29%28%28x%2B4%29%5E2%29:

graph%28+300%2C+300%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-40%2C+10%2C+%28x-2%29%28%28x%2B4%29%5E2%29+%29

It will cross the x axis for odd multiplicities and touch for even.
Example: (x-2) is odd because even though it is not shown it is raised to the power of one which is odd and
%28x%2B4%29%5E2is even because it is raised to an even power.
To find the y intercept substitute 0 for x.
y+=%280-2%29%280%2B4%29%5E2
y=-2%284%29%5E2
y=-32
