SOLUTION: How do you factor x^2-x+30? I've tried almost everything to factor that expression but i either get x^2-x-30 or x^2+x-30 by trying (x-6)(x+5)and (-x+5)(-x-6)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
x^2-x-30 = (x +5)(x-6) Might recommend a pattern of placing the + in 1st parenthesis
think of Using FOIL in your decision as to the placement of the minus sgn
