You are 8 now. In 4 years, you'll be 8+4 = 12. Since she will be half your age then, she will be 12/2 = 6 years old (4 yrs in the future). So she is currently 6-4 = 2 years old.

She will be 20+2 = 22 years old in 20 years time.
