Slope = m = 8/9
Equation of the line slope-intercept form
y=mx+b
Put the given values of point and slope in above equation in order to know the y-intercept
-8=(8/9)(4)+b
-8=32/9+b
-8-32/9=b
(-72-32)/9=b
b=-104/9

y-intecept = b = -104/9
Again put the values of slope and y-intercept in the equation of the line slope-intercept form
y=8/9(x)+(-104/9)
y=8x/9-104/9
Above equation is required equation of the line.
