1) 0.12 is rational

2) 2(pie) is irrational

3) √12 is irrational

4) 0.3691215182124 is irrational

5) 1/2 √8 is irrational


Remember that a number is rational if you can represent it as a fraction of integers (or whole numbers).

Since 0.12=12%2F100, it is rational. The other problems cannot be represented as fractions of integers. So they are irrational.
