You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope of the line = Gradient
Gradient = m
m=%28y2-y1%29%2F%28x2-x1%29
In this case :
y1 = -5
y2 = -8
x1 = 3
x2 = -9
Insert the formula :
m=%28y2-y1%29%2F%28x2-x1%29
So,
m=%28%28-8%29-%28-5%29%29%2F%28-9-3%29
m=-3%2F-12
m=1%2F4
