6x%2B4=5x%2B3%2Bx Combine like terms on the left side.


6x%2B4=6x%2B3 Combine like terms on the right side.


6x=6x%2B3-4 Subtract 4 from both sides.


6x-6x=3-4 Subtract 6x from both sides.


0x=3-4 Combine like terms on the left side.


0x=-1 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=-1 Simplify.


Since this equation is never true for any x value, this means that there are no solutions.
