Graph an equation of the form y = mx + b
y = 5x - 4
Thank you This question is from textbook
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Graph:
y = 5x - 4
-------------
You need two points to determine a line.
Let x=0 then y=5*0-4=-4 giving you point (0.-4)
---------
Let x=1 then y=5*1-4=1 giving you the point (1,1)
---------
Plot these two points and draw a line thru them.
----------
That is the graph of your equation.
