If the numbers you get are equal then it is correct
Let's say you get 2 as an answer for your equation.
2^2+12*2+35=0
4+24+35=0
4+59=0
63=0
63 doesn't equal 0 so 2 is not an answer.
let's say you got -5
-5^2-5*12)+35
25+35-60=0
60-60=0
0=0
0 does equal 0 so -5 is a correct answer.
