You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+1%2F%284x%2B12%29+-+1%2F%28x%5E2-9%29+=+5%2F%28x-3%29+
Factor the denominators
+1%2F%284%28x%2B3%29%29+-+1%2F%28%28x%2B3%29%28x-3%29%29+=+5%2F%28x-3%29+
find common denominators ... in this case 4(x+3)(x-3)
If a fraction is missing any of these multiply the numerator and denominator by that quantity

multiply out the numerators.

Since the denominators are all the same, and this is an equation .... DROP THEM
+x-3+-+4+=+20x%2B60+
Combine like terms
+x+-+7+=+20x+%2B+60+
subtract x from both sides
+-+7+=+19x+%2B60+
subtract 60 from both sides
+-67+=+19x+
divide by 19
+-67%2F19+=x+
