Question 632871: I'm trying to use the sum and differences identities to write this expression as a sine, cosine, and tangent of an angle presented in degrees.
I'm trying to completely, and correctly, solve this equation: sin(140)deg cos(5)deg + cos (140)deg sin (50)deg.
So far...I've come up with this solution: sin(140 + 50)= 190 degrees
Because Sin(u+v)= sin(u)cos(v)+cos(u)sin(v)
So...how am I supposed to solve and write the above expression as a sine, cosine, and tangent of an angle?
