Question 63253: what is the area of triangle.
Answer by uma(370) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The general formula for area of any triangle is A = (1/2) * base * height
where base is the measure of the base of the triangle and height is the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite vertex.
For an equilateral triangle the area = A = [sqrt(3) *a^2]/4 where 'a' is the length of the side of the equilateral triangle.
Good Luck!!!
