Question 63223: How do you find an equation for a grph that goes through the x-axis 4 (or more) times? There are no specific points except for (a,0) (b,0) (c,0) and (d,0). I'm very confused. I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me tonight or before 6:00 AM tomorrow (NOvember 29) morning.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do you find an equation for a grph that goes through the x-axis 4 (or more) times? There are no specific points except for (a,0) (b,0) (c,0) and (d,0).
------------------------------------------
a,b,c, and d are called "zeroes" of the polynomial
The polynomial has factors (x-a),(x-b),(x-c), and (x-d)
f(x)=k(x-a)(x-b)(x-c)(x-d)
Note: k is some non-zero constant
