You can put this solution on YOUR website! List the positive multiples of 4 (up to 50)
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48
Then list the positive multiples of 6 (up to 50)
6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48
-------------------------------------------------------
So go through the first list and erase any elements in that first list that also lie in the second list.
So start with the first list
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48
and scratch off any numbers you find in the second list (numbers like 12, 24, 36, etc)
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48
What's left is the following
4, 8, 16, 20, 28, 32, 40, 44
So there are 8 positive integers less than 50 that are multiples of 4 but are not multiples of 6.
