You can put this solution on YOUR website! Your question is, Which expression is equvalent to x^3 * x^-7
This can be siplifies like this,

 x^3 * x^-7 = x^(3 + -7 )
 = x^-4

 Now consider the choices,

 1. is x^-4, which is same

 2. is 1/x^4 = x^-4 because 1/x^m = x^-m
 which is also same.

 3. is x^7/x^3 = x^(7-3) = x^4, (because, x^m/x^n = x^(m-n)

 which is not equvalent.

 4. is x^3/x^7 = x^(3-7) = x^-4, which is also equavalent.

So your answer is third one that is x^7/x^3

 Hope you understood.
