You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A large bucket holds 3L more than twice as much as a small bucket. It took 2 small buckets and 5 large buckets to fill a 63L tank. How much does a large bucket hold?
-------------
Let amount small bucket can hold be "x"L
Then large bucket can hold "2x+3"L
-----------
EQUATION:
2small + 5 large = 63L
2x+5(2x+3)=63
2x+10x+15=63
12x=48
x=4L (amount small bucket can hold)
2x+3=11L (amount large bucket can hold)
