Suppose that for a two-tailed hypothesis test the critical values are z0 = 1.88 and −z0 = −1.88. State whether you would reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis if the standardized test statistic z has the values listed below.
You dont have to give me the answers, a push in the right direction will do.
(a)z=1.72
(b)z = −2.03

Note: critical values: z0 = 1.88 and −z0 = −1.88 plotted on the Standard NOrmal curve below

If the test statistic lies beyond these either to the right or left, the
null hypothesis is rejected.
(a)z = 1.72 does not lie beyond to the right
(b)z = −2.03 lies beyond to the left
