You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Adults tickets sold = x
Children tickets sold = 1820-x
Cost of Adult's ticket = 5
Cost of Child's ticket = 2
Total Sale = 6100

(Adults tickets sold)(Cost of Adult's ticket)+(Children tickets sold)(Cost of Child's ticket) = Total Sale
(x)(5)+(1820-x)(2) = 6100
5x+3640-2x=6100
5x-2x=6100-3640
3x=2460
3x/3=2460/3
x=820

Adults tickets sold = x = 820
Children tickets sold = 1820-x = 1820-820 = 1000
