Question 629247: The length of a rectangle is four times it's width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 cm, find its area. Answer by killer6678(69) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the length is four time its width then we can say that L=4W
The whole rectangle would be 10W.
60/10=6 W=6
Since the length is made up of 4W then 24 is the length and 6 is the width.
24*6= 144 cm squared
Therefore the area is 144 cm squared.
