: I think I am in the right section. I'm doing practice problems but I don't have an answer key to know if I am going in the right direction

23. Multiply.
n^2-n-20 n^2+5n
-------- * ------
2n^2 n^2-25

I did this thus far but I know it is incorrect.

(n+4)(n-5) n(n+5)
--------- * ------
2n^2 n-5)(n-5)
This just doesn't look right.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28n%5E2-n-20%29%2F2n%5E2+%2A+%28n%5E2%2B5n%29%2F%28n%5E2-25%29

I did this thus far but I know it is incorrect.
(n+4)(n-5) n(n+5)
--------- * ------
2n^2 (n-5)(n-5)
This just doesn't look right.

You are certainly on the right track so I won't finish it off. Your error is that n^2-25 factorises as (n-5)(n+5). Fix that and you should be able to complete the rest without difficulties.
