at 5 miles per hour. How far do you go in 3 hours?
Im trying to fiqure out how to solve this step by step any help would be nice. I have been out of math classes for atleast five years and need help on sample problem to get me back into math solving.
distance = 5mph*3 hrs
distance = 15 miles
ive come up with this butcant explain how i got there other than mulipliing mpg and the hour

d = r*t
d = 5 mi/hr * 3 hr
d = 15 miles

Notice that the hours cancel, leaving miles as the units.
