You can put this solution on YOUR website! Slope of the straight line = m =(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)

(x1,y1)=(2,-1)
(x2,y2)=(6,3)

m =(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
m=(-1-3)/(2-6)
m=(-4)/(-4)
m=1
Slope of the straight line = m = 1

You can put this solution on YOUR website! After plotting the straight line graph of:

(2,-1)

(6,3)

The Slope = rise/run = 4/4 = 1

The other method:

(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

3 - (-1)/6 -2

3 - (-1) = 3 + 1 = 4

6 -2 = 4

4/4 = 1

or

-1 - 3/2 - 6

-1 - 3 = -4

2 - 6 = -4

-4/-4 = 4/4 = 1

Therefore:

The Slope - m = 1
