Question 625392: My homework is asking me to find the exact value of the trigonometric function given:
sin 11Pi/4
what i have done so far is taken 11/4 and subtracted 2, which gave me 3Pi/4, but it is still asking me to elaborate more and the final answer has a radical in it. I am so confused and dont understand how to further my answer. I dont understand where the radicals are coming from.
Thank you.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Your first step of taking the 2pi out is right. So now you are left with . is in radian measure. In degrees it is equal to 135deg. The sin of 135 is . The radical should be there.
