Since B is the midpoint of line AC, then AB = BC

This means that: 2x+%2B+6+=+5x%2F2

4x + 12 = 5x ----- Multiplying eq by LCD, 2

4x - 5x = - 12

- x = - 12

x = %28-+12%29%2F-+1, or highlight_green%2812%29 units

Since x = 12, then AB = 2(12) + 6, or highlight_green%2830%29 units.

Line BC also equals highlight_green%2830%29 units

Line AC = 2(30), or highlight_green%2860%29 units
