3.2% converts to 0.032 in decimal form (move that decimal over 2 spots to the left)

Now multiply 0.032 by 500 to get the answer of 0.032*500 = 16

So 3.2% of 500 is 16

Change the percent to a decimal by moving the decimal point two places to the left. Multiply the resulting decimal times the other given number.

Oh, and in the future, show a little respect for your elders and spell out your words. Using "u" for "you" is dismissively disrespectful.
