You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Replace x in the function with x+h for the first term, then just x (so it's the same function) and divide the whole thing by h.

f(x+h) = 2(x+h)-3 and f(x) = 2x-3. The numerator is:

2(x+h)-3-(2x-3) = 2x + 2h -3 -2x +3 = 2h.

The whole fraction is then 2h/h = 2.
