Question 622538: i have a 48 on my first math test and it counts for 80% of my grade with one test to go..i have a 100 for my homework which counts for 10%..i need to know what i need to make on the next test to pass my class. Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
If the first test is worth 80% of your grade, and the homework is worth 10%, then the final test must also be worth 10%, because you can't have more or less than 100% of a grade.
The best you can do is 100% on the final so:
If a passing score for the course is anything that is larger than 50.4%, then put a fork in yourself -- you're done. Drop out of the class now before you waste any more of anyone's time. Try again next semester.
