2+cos%28x%2F2%29+%2B+1+=+1 --> 2+cos%28x%2F2%29=0 (subtracting 1 from both sides of the equal sign.
2+cos%28x%2F2%29=0 --> cos%28x%2F2%29=0
x%2F2=pi%2F2, and x%2F2=3pi%2F2 are solutions
So are all angles co-terminal to those two, and the whole set can be written as
x%2F2=%282n%2B1%29%2Api%2F2 for all n integers
So the solution set is (multiplying both sides of the equal sign times 2)
x=%282n%2B1%29%2Api for all n integers
