x+2y-7-3x-4y+8
Write the x terms then the y terms, then the number terms, as follows:
x-3x + 2y-4y -7-8
The x terms: one to the right then three to the left leaves you at -2x
The y terms: two to the right then 4 to the left leaves you at -2y
The numbers: seven to the left then eight to the left leaves you at -15
SOLUTION:
-2x-2y-15
