You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi,
line containing the point (1, 5) and parallel to f(x) = highlight%283%29x- 4.
y = mx + b
New line: parallel, same slope m = 3
y = 3x + b || Using Pt(1,5) to solve for b
5 = 3 + b
2 = b
y = 3x + 2
