That's not an equation. There's no equal sign.

NUM & DEN have an x, cancel that.
Also a y, cancel that.
And a factor of 7.

i believe i can clarify this for you. first notice that -7%2F28 = -1%2F4 now x%2Fx%5E5 = 1%2Fx%5E4 similarly, y%5E2%2Fy = y so we get %28-1%2F4%29%2A%281%2Fx%5E4%29%2A%28y%29 which gives us -y%2F4x%5E4
