| Question 621957: Could you pls, help me with this?
 Complete this linear function table:
 ( x , y)
 (- 3 , - 1/3)
 (- 1 , 1/3)
 (2 , ? ) If x = 2 what should be y ?
 (4 , 2)
 ( 5 , 2(1/3))
 Thanks.
(This is the 3rd time that I am submitting this problem without receiving any answer: is it so difficult that no one could even try to solve it?)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! for every increase of x by 1, y increases by 1/3. so either start at 4 and go back 2 units ox 2 (and thus need to subtract 2/3 from 2 to find y) OR
start at -1 and add 3 units of x (and thus need to add 3/3 to 1/3) to find y. In either case, the value for y is the same (1 1/3)
