Finding the y-intercept when x = 0  (, _)  

 -2y = -8 

      y = 4    || the y-intercept  (, 4) 



Finding the x-intercept when y  = 0  ( _, )   

 x -2· = -8 

     x = -8     ||   the x-intercept is (-8 , ) 

Plot (0,4) and (-8,0) and connect with a Line
