Do in the parentheses first by writing 1%2F3 as 5%2F15 and 1%2F5 as 3%2F15

11 - 8 ÷ (5%2F15 + 3%2F15)

11 - 8 ÷ 8%2F15

Next do the division by inverting the 8%2F15 as 15%2F8 and
changing the division to multiplication:

11 - 8×15%2F8

To do the multiplication, write 8 as 8%2F1

11 - 8%2F1×15%2F8

Cancel the 8's

11 - cross%288%29%2F1×15%2Fcross%288%29

11 - 15
