You can put this solution on YOUR website! Plug the given information:
M=5/6,(5,-9)
into the "point-slope" form:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - (-9) = (5/6)(x - 5)
y + 9 = (5/6)(x - 5)
distribute the 5/6:
y + 9 = (5/6)x - (5/6)5
y + 9 = (5/6)x - 25/6
y = (5/6)x - 25/6 - 9
y = (5/6)x - 25/6 - 54/6
y = (5/6)x - 79/6 (this is what they're looking for in "slope-intercept" form)
