Question 620146: My price is $64,413.02, which is 45.9% higher than my competitor's price. What is my competitor's price?
Answer by fcabanski(1391) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Call the competitor's price x. When a price is y% higher it's x(1+y%).
64,413.02 = x(1+.459)
64,413.02 = 1.459x
44148.75=x, the competitor's price.
