You can put this solution on YOUR website! factor the polynomial
x^24-y^24
=(x^12+y^12)(x^12-y^12)
=(x^12+y^12)(x^6+y^6)(x^6-y^6)
Comment:
This is too much
x^12+y^12 can be factored as the sum of cubes
x^6+y^6 can be factored as the sum of cubes
x^6-y^6 can be factored as the sum of cubes and the difference of cubes.
All in all this is a mess and not worth spending that much time on.
Recommend to your instructor that he or she get real.
