Question 61917: Please help, I believe I understand the problem but can't get started. Here we go:
The cost C(x) in dollars of producing x calculators is given by C(x)=16,000+120x and the revenue R(x) is R(x)=700x-x^2/50. find the profit P(x)=R(x)-C(x), when 500 calculators are produced and sold.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The cost C(x) in dollars of producing x calculators is given by C(x)=16,000+120x and the revenue R(x) is R(x)=700x-x^2/50. find the profit P(x)=R(x)-C(x), when 500 calculators are produced and sold.
-------
Is 50 the denominator of x^2 or is it the denominator of 700x-x^2
Cheers,
