You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Replace x with -1 and evaluate.

-5x^3+7x^2-4x-1

-5(-1)^3+7(-1)^2-4(-1)-1

-5(-1)+7(1)-4(-1)-1

5+7+4-1

15

So -5x^3+7x^2-4x-1 = 15 when x = -1
