Hi,

If i have a total of 16 coins using only highlight%2816-x%29nickles and highlight%28x%29quarters to equal $3, how many quarters will i have?

Note:  CENTS makes sense

 25x + 5(16-x) = 300¢

      20x = 220

        x = 11, number of quarters.  There are 5 nickels

25*11 + 5*5 = 300¢ or $3.00
