How to write -7y=8x-3 in slope-intercept form ?

SOLVE for y:

 -7y=8x-3 

   y = (8/-7)x + (-3/-7)

   y = (-8/7)x + 3/7     m = (-8/7)slants to the left and y-intercept is 3/7
