Then
DAY 1: x
DAY 2: x + 3
DAY 3: x + 6
DAY 4: x + 9
DAY 5: x + 12
The total of acorns is 50 for 5 days
x + (x + 3) + (x + 6) + (x + 9) + (x + 12) = 50
5x + 30 = 50
5x = 20
x = 4
so
DAY 1: 4 acorns
DAY 2: 7 acorns
DAY 3: 10 acorns
DAY 4: 13 acorns
DAY 5: 16 acorns
