Question 618485: A company sells DVDs d and CDs c. The figure shows a red, solid graph of d+c =1500. The blue, dashed graph shows a revenue of $12,000.00 recieved from selling d DVDs at $12.00 each and c CDs at $6.00 each. Complete parts (a) and (b) below.
(A) If the total number of DVDs and CDs sold is 1500, determine how many of each were sold to obtain a revenue of $12,000.00
Please help me solve this equation.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! For part (a), you will create two equations and solve for c and d
you will have:
c + d = 1500 (total CDs and DVDs)
6c + 12d = 12000 (total revenue from selling them)
Solve the above linear system you will find c and d.
good luck:)
