Hi,
$22 for adults, $17 for senior citizens, and $6 for children under 12,
47 more children than adults AND 899 tickets sold
Let x, (x+47) and [899-x-(x+47)] represent # of adult, children, senior tickets respectively
Question states***revenue was $13086
$22x + $6(x+47) + $17(852 -2x) = $13086
-6x = 13086 - 282 - 14484
-6x = -1680
x = 280, number of adult tickets sold
Children 280+47 = 327 children
CHECKING our Answer***( 292 Seniors, (852-560)
22*280 + 6*327 + 17*292 = 13086
