You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Hi, please help me solve the question:

Find the 100th term of the following sequences:
a. -10, -20, -30, -40, ...
b. 0.2, 3.0, 5.8, 8.6, ...
Thank you!

This is an arithmetic progression in which the following formula is used: t%5Bn%5D+=+t%5B1%5D+%2B+%28n+-+1%29d, with t%5Bn%5D being the term number, t%5B1%5D being the 1st term, and d being the common difference between each term

t%5B100%5D+=+-+10+%2B+%28100+-+1%29-+10 ---- Substituting 100 for n, - 10 for term number 1 (t%5B1%5D), and - 10 for the common difference between each term

t%5B100%5D+=+-+10+%2B+-+10%2899%29

t%5B100%5D+=+-+10+-+990

Term 100, or highlight_green%28t%5B100%5D+=+-+1000%29

You just need to follow this same procedure to do (b). You can do it!!
