Do not graph, but determine:
A- How many X intercepts the parabola has.
B- Whether its vertex lies above or below the X-Axis
Y = -x^2 + 2x - 1
y = -(x-1)^2
hence at y=0...x=1..that is x intercept is 1.in fact the parabola touches the x axis at x=1
vertex is at x=1,y-0
so vertex is on the x axis
