1/x = 2/x^2

1*x^2 = 2x

x^2 = 2x

x^2 - 2x = 0

x(x-2) = 0

x = 0 or x-2 = 0

x = 0 or x = 2

Keep in mind that you cannot divide by zero. So the only solution is x = 2
