You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Points (-10,23) and (6,-11)
Use point-slope Equation
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
m=(-11-23)/(6-(-10))
m=(-11-23)/(6+10)
m=-34/16
m=-17/8
Equation of the line Slope-intercept form
y=mx+b
Put the value of any one point and slope in above equation
m=-17/8, Point (-10,23)
23=(-17/8)(-10)+b
23=170/8+b
23=85/4+b
23-85/4=b
(92-85)/4=b
7/4=b
b=7/4
Now
m=-17/8, Point (6,-11)
-11=(-17/8)(6)+b
-11=-102/8+b
-11=-51/4+b
-11+51/4=b
(-44+51)/4=b
7/4=b
b=7/4
Again we found the same value for y-intercept

Now put the value of b and m in Equation of the Slope-intercept Form
y=mx+b
y=(-17/8)x+7/4
Above equation is our required Equation of the Straight line Slope-inercept form
